Facility, Living and Eating arrangements: Rural campus with two homes which accommodate up to 10 boys and a married couple each in a family-like setting.
Overview of program/Therapeutic model: Program is designed to promote positive behavior from clients by providing them a nurturing, positive, effective, and consistent enfironment.  Residents live in on-campus homes which are supervised by a married Family-Counselor couple.  Program focuses on five components: Mentoring, protecting, nurturing, teaching, and serving.  Residents also participate in animal therapy program.

Admission procedure: 1. Phone call interview. 2. Completed application. 3. In office interview with parents and child. 4. Testing if indicated.
Average time for admission: ASAP
Requirements of child: Willing to be placed adn participate in program goals.
Requirements of parents/guardians: Cooperate with program and staff, periodic visits with child, provide required placement documents, pay monthly fee.
Requirements of placing agency: Same
Mandatory admission requirements: Birth certificate, immunization records, medical history, evaluation/ test results, school records, records of past treatments, court documents pertaining to custody/ guardianship, CoC application form, and interview.
Supplemental information desired: Financial information for adjusted fees, Degree of Indian Blood Certificate.
Visitation policies: Regular visitation arranged according to each resident's progress and by the treatment team. After care plans developed at discharge.

Additional Services Provided by United Methodist Boys Ranch:

A.  Counseling: Weekly group therapy for all residents; individual therapy as needed.

B.  Education: Residents attend either public school at Gore or on-campus Alternative Education Center.

C.  Vocational: Available in community.

D.  Medical: R.N. on Circle of Care staff and is on site weekly.  Community based servcies.

E.  Recrational:  Swimming, volleyball, basketball, fishing, horsemanship, animal therapy, annual rodeo, and on campus gymnasium.

F.  Foster Care: Through Oklahoma United Methodist Circle of Care Child S.H.A.R.E. Program.

G.  Treatment Plan:  Initial treatment plan development after 30 days of placement and every 90 days by youth, counselor, Asst. Director, Educational Coordinator, Family Counselors and legal guardian or worker.
