Facility, Living and Eating arrangements: Five cottages, 8 children each with a houe parent couple. Two children to one bedroom. Cooking, laundry, and nurturing done in a family style setting. Three independent living apartments are available for adolescent mothers and their chld and/or older residents preparing to complete the residential program.
Overview of program/Therapeutic model: A program modeling Christian group living similar to a Christian home.  Children required to attend church with the cottage.
Child best suited for program: A child who is able to live in a group environment wiht family like supervision. Typically not having medicated or in Emothionally Disturbed (ED) or in Educable Mentally Handicapped (EMH) school classification. Child should be physically able to participate in program wiht minimal physical handicaps.
Types of referrals accepted: Private placements and DHS custody.
Authority required for admission: Yes
Admission procedure: 1. Written application. 2. Personal interview. 3. Records - medical and school requested. 4. Signed contract by legal guardian or court order.
Average time for admission: 2 to 4 weeks.
Requirements of child: Willing to com.
Requirements of parents/guardians: Mantain contact and participate in their child's plan of care.
Requirements of placing agency: Be supportive of OBHC program and policy.
Supplemental information desired: Adolescent maternity girls and adolescent mothers and their child.
Visitation policies: Visitation 9am to 6pm every other Saturday. Visitation may be altered through plan of care to fit the needs of individual children. Release will typically be Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm except in emergencies or by prior arrangements.

A.       Counseling:  Referred to community services.

B.      Education:  Public school, alternative school, vocational schools and GED completion courses.  Campus facilities/ services include a computer lab, education programs and tutors.

C.      Vocational:  On and off campus vocational training and workexperiences.

D.      Medical:  Area hospital and clinics.  Family responsible for payment.

E.       Recreational:  Full range of activities both on and off campus.
